CRMS Santa ShopCRMS Santa ShopSanta Shop is scheduled to be open December 8 - 14.  Students may purchase inexpensive gifts for family and friends, including candy grams. Gifts in the Santa Shop range from $.50 to $5.00. Students may purchase items in the morning, prior to first period.  Candy grams are also available for purchase in the Santa Shop.
Nine Week ExamsNine Week Exams

Nine week exams will  be administered December 12 - December 15.  The end of the nine weeks is December 19. Teachers will inform students as to the day their subject exam will take place.

Tri-M IntitiationTri-M Intitiation

Students meeting criteria will be initiated into the Tri-M Music Honor Society on Thursday, December 14, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Adjusted School CalendarAdjusted School Calendar

Due to school closures during Hurricane Irma, the school calendar has been adjusted. Students will have regular school days on December 18 and 19. The first day of Christmas holidays will be December 20. Revised calendar available here.

Student vs. Faculty Volleyball GameStudent vs. Faculty Volleyball GameClifton Ridge will hold its annual student vs. staff volleyball game  on Tuesday, December 19. Student volleyball Teams will be selected during Connections.If you are interested in participating on the student volleyball team, please let a physical education teacher, or your Connections teacher know.

Parent's Right to Know

In compliance with the requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) the Jones County School System informs parents that you may request the following information about the professional qualifications of your student's teacher(s). The following information may be requested:
  • Whether the teachers has met the Georgia Professional Standards Commission requirements for certification for the grade level and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction.
  • Whether the teacher is teaching under an emergency or other provisional status through which Georgia qualifications or certification criteria have been waived.
  • The college major and any graduate certification or degree held by the teacher.
  • Whether the student is provided services by paraprofessionals, and if so, their qualifications.

If you wish to request information concerning your child's teacher's qualifications, please contact Mr. Charles E. Lundy, Jr., the principal of Clifton Ridge Middle School.
